Course Description
Social media has become a way of connecting with others for many people in society. The connection has its benefits of being able to remain close and involved in loved ones lives even when geographically separated. Unfortunately there are also relational risks involved with social media as well. Social media use has been linked to relationship satisfaction, and the potential for infidelity-related behaviors. One area of research that seems to be limited is the effects of social media infidelity related behaviors have on same-sex relationships. This brief one hour course reviews a research study that explores the connection of relationship satisfaction and social media-based infidelity-related behaviors for same sex couples.
