directceu, llc works diligently to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems; unfortunately, there will be occasional issues which require intervention and/or action on behalf of the CE Program Administrator. This procedural description serves as a guideline for handling such grievances. When a participant, either orally or in written format, files a grievance and expects action on the complaint, the following actions will be taken.

If the grievance concerns an online course description, level of presentation, or the ease of use of our website, the CE Program Administrator will work to resolve the issue in a timely manner. If the participant requests action, the CE Program Administrator will:

  1. provide a credit for another online course, or
  2. provide a full refund of the individual course fee.

If the CE Program Administrator is unable to resolve the grievance, the CE Program Administrator will consult with four independent licensed practitioners outside of directceu, llc, and each provider will formulate a response and recommend action if necessary.  Participant will be notified in writing of the outcome of review of grievance. Resolution of grievance will be no greater than a full refund of participant’s individual course purchase that is related to the grievance.

Grievances about the content presented, about the style of presentation, and about the website will require a written note documenting the grievance, for record keeping purposes. The note need not be signed by the grieved individual.
